Butter Tarts

Melt:

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup washed currants
  • 1/2 cup light white corn syrup
  • pinch of salt
Mix and pour into shells – small frozen pastry tarts.
Bake 10 mins @ 425 degrees F.
