Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 ‘thing’ of Publix Mild Sausage
  • 1 can of water (using 16 oz tomato can)
  • 2 (32 oz) cartons of beef broth
  • 5 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 medium stalks celery, chopped
  • about 8 small new potatoes chopped
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped green beans
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp bottled brown bouquet sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Worshershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cans (16 ounces) diced tomatoes with basil and oregano

Directions

  1. Cook and stir hamburger and sausage together in a large pot until light brown; drain.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
