Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1tsp soda powder
- 2 sticks butter
- 7 tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
Directions
- Sift together: 2 cups flour , 2 cups sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp soda.
- Bring to boil: 1 stick of butter, 3 Tbl cocoa, 1/2 cup oil, 1 cup water
- Stir butter mixture into flour mixture. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well.
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Icing
1 stick of butter melted
4 Tbl cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup milk
