Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 links hot sausage
  • 1 link mild sausage
  • 1 ¼ lb. hamburger
  • 3-4 cans of light kidney beans (Joan of Ark)
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • McCormack package Chili mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Pour kidney beans into a large pot and add ½ can of water for each can of kidney beans.
  2. Chop up onion and add to kidney beans.
  3. Fry the sausage out of the casing till no longer pink. Add to beans.
  4. Fry hamburger, drain, add to kidney bean mixture.Add tomato paste and package Chili mix and simmer a few hours, (1-3), stirring occasionally.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
